Obituary of Mary Collora
Mary (Ewing) Collora, age 81, of Oak Ridge died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. She lived in New Mexico, Elmwood Park and Rutherford before moving to Oak Ridge.
Mrs. Collora was born November 16, 1921 in Independence, MO the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Bertha Ewing. She taught the English Language in Hobbs, New Mexico, Thailand and more recently in Rutherford, NJ before retiring. She also bred miniature poodles and schnauzers.
She is survived by her husband: Edward J. Collora, two daughters: Diane and her husband Robert Irwin of Lyndhurst, Denise Norman of Fredon, NJ, two sons: Ted and his wife Kanda of Ringwood, NJ, Gary of Oak Ridge, NJ, one brother: Albert Ewing of Hobbs, NM,
9 Grandchildren : Jamie Roberts, Michele Machere; Robert And Sean Irwin; Christopher,Anthony,Melissa, Anthony And Richard Collora; 8 great grandchildren, Patrick and Lindsey Roberts; Katie,Lauren and Sara Machere; Danielle,Andrew And Cassandra Irwin
She was predeceased by her son, Richard.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Rev. James Brassard officiating.
