Obituary of Mary Genova

Mary (Roberts) Genova, age 96, of Wayne died Friday, August 1, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Genova was born August 5, 1906 in Hackettstown, NJ the daughter of the late William and the late Sadie (Schneider) Roberts. She lived in Totowa most of her life before moving to Wayne. She was employed by Bogue Electric, Paterson,NJ before retiring. Mrs. Genova was a former member of St. Stephen's R. C. Church, Paterson, NJ. She is survived by one daughter: Marlene Biscaha of Pembroke Pines, FL, one son: Daniel And His Wife Sally Genova of Pompton Lakes, NJ, one sister: Mabel Roslan of Netcong, NJ, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Abraham Roberts, 2 sisters: Hilda Bruno and Leta Ray, and her husband, Daniel Genova. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael Carnevale. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover on Monday at 12:00 pm.
