Obituary of Mildred Bucher

Mildred (Zurburg) Bucher, age 86, of Palmyra died Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra, PA. Mrs. Bucher was born December 12, 1916 in Union City, NJ the daughter of the late Emil and the late Pauline (Conrad) Zurburg. She lived in Wayne, NJ most of her life. She was employed as a waitress at the Swiss Tavern, Woolworths and later at Kresges all in Wayne, NJ before retiring. Mrs. Bucher was a member of AARP. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ She is survived by two daughters: Trudy A. Ewing of Hummelstown, PA, and Sonia Enman of Arusha, TX, one sister: Alice Misa of Oakland, NJ, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, She was predeceased by her husband, Albert , and a grandson, Jesse Ewing. Visiting hours will be Friday from 10:45 AM-12:45 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Rev. Kevin Downey. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
