Obituary of Augustine “Augie” Greco

Augustine Augie Greco, age 92, of Pompton Lakes died Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Greco was born August 31, 1910 in New York, NY the son of the late Mariano and the late Anna (Pipelta) Greco. He lived in Pompton Lakes most of his life. He was employed by the Boro of Pompton Lakes,for over 45 years, most recently as the Supervisor of the Municipal Utilities Authority, before retiring. Mr. Greco was a member of BPO Elks # 1895, and the Lions Club both of Pompton Lakes, NJ He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Eva (Kinder) Greco in 1996. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 at Moore's Home For Funerals with Fr. Michael Lombardo officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the BPO Elks # 1895, 1 Perrin Drive, PO Box 227, Pompton Lakes, NJ 07442
