Obituary of Dorothy M. VanNote

Dorothy M. (Simpson) VanNote, age 77, of Totowa died Friday, May 30, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. VanNote was born December 22, 1925 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late William J., III and the late Frances (VanderWyde) Simpson. She worked for the Passaic County Prosecuters Office from 1944-1957 later she was employed by JAV Communicative Enterprises, Inc. Totowa,NJ. Mrs. VanNote was a member of Totowa United Methodist Church, Totowa. She is survived by her husband : Harold R. of Totowa and a son: Jack A.S. Van Note of Totowa, niece, Connie Sue House; niece, Marsha Holderer; nephew, Jack Holderer; nephew, Vance VanNote; niece, Joyce Sandel; nephew, Ted Johnson; nephew, Roland James; niece, Lois Costello; niece, Careen Pierson;and niece, Yvonne Mulry. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 at Moore's Home For Funerals,Dr. David E. Wiley officiating.
