Obituary of Clara May Kuno

Clara May (Winter) Kuno, age 82, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at home. Mrs. Kuno was born May 22, 1930 in Englewood, NJ the daughter of the late Erick and the late Emily (Ship) Winter. Mrs. Kuno spent her childhood years in Dumont, graduating from Dumont H.S. She married Samuel Kuno, the love of her life, on January 19, 1957. She lived in Fair Lawn before settling in Wayne. Mrs. Kuno attended Hawthorne Gospel Church. Before retiring, she was a secretary at Passaic Valley HS in Little Falls for over 15 years. Mrs. Kuno loved gardening, playing piano, cooking, and oil painting, and most of all her family and friends. Mrs. Kuno was the beloved wife of Samuel Kuno; loving mother of Linda and her husband Don Gross and Mark and his wife Sarah Kuno; devoted grandmother of Derek and Ryan and dear sister of Erick and his wife Norma Winters and the late Arthur Winters. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Dan Gilbert. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Kuno's name may be made to your favorite charity
