Obituary of Alfred DeAlesandro

Alfred Cookie DeAlesandro, age 72, of Montville, formerly of Paterson, died Monday, May 12, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. DeAlesandro was born December 30, 1930 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Frank and Violanda M. (Salemone) Dalesandro. He married Dorothy Chisari on 5/16/1954 at St. Mary Help of Christains RC Church, Paterson . He served in the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean war. He was employed as an Offset Printer by Atlas Printing Springfield,NJ until retiring in 1992. Mr. DeAlesandro was a Parishioner and member of the Choir and the Holy Name Society at St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, Paterson, NJ. He was also a Charter member and Financial Secretary for the Knights of Columbus Council # 6805. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy (Chisari) of Montville one son: Al and his wife Tracy of Montville, one brother: Phillip of Totowa, his mother: Violanda M. (Salemone) of Wayne and 2 grandchildren: Alyssa & Joseph. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 at St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, 410 Union Ave, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Joseph G. Buffardi.
