Obituary of Mary B. “Mae” Landers

Mary Mae (nee Drohan) Landers of Saddle River, NJ, age 85, died Tuesday April 15, 2003 at the Woodcliff Lake Manor in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Born in Yonkers, NY she had been a resident of Saddle River, NJ the last two years. Before that she resided in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for 23 years and prior to that lived most of her life in Yonkers, NY. Mrs. Landers retired in 1974 after working 25 years for the Yonkers, NY Board of Education as a secretary. During her life, she was a parishioner at Sacred Heart RC Church in Yonkers, NY and at Our Lady of the Seas RC Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC. She was also a former member of The Amackasson Club in Yonkers, NY. Her Husband John predeceased her in 1994. Surviving are 2 sons; Jack of Pomona, NY and Kevin of Wayne, NJ 2 Sisters; Patricia Zamborsky and Theresa Lawrence both of Florida 3 Grandchildren; David, Benjamin and Jessie 1 Great-Granddaughter Olivia A Memorial Mass will be held Sat. May 3, 2003 at 10AM at St. Gabriels RC Church, 88 East Saddle River Rd. in Saddle River, NJ. Memorial Donations can made in her memory to The Autism Society of America.
