Obituary of Bertram J. Saxton

Bertram J. Saxton, Jr., age 81, died peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at home in Tannersville, PA. Mr. Saxton was born December 20, 1930 in Haledon, NJ the son of the late Bertram J. and the late Sarah Ruth (Ristine) Saxton, Sr. Mr. Saxton was a proud US Army veteran. He lived in Tannersville for the last 30 years and was formerly of Ringwood. Mr. Saxton was an architectural woodworker who owned and operated Suburban Kitchens, Oakland, NJ. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Shawnee Country Club. Mr. Saxton is survived by his beloved wife: Grace (Matchett) Saxton; his loving daughters, Lorrie Decker and Linda Leyden; his devoted grandchildren, Raymond, Katie, Megan and Alex; and his cherished great-grandchildren, Emily, Jillian and Duke. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Church of Smoke Rise, 38 North Road in Kinnelon which will be celebrated by Pastor Brad S. Smith. Interment will follow at Cedar Heights Cemetery Association in West Milford.
