Obituary of Anna E. Widmer

Anna E. (Chadderton) Widmer, age 91, of West Milford died Friday, April 11, 2003 at Milford Manor, West Milford. Mrs. Widmer was born January 22, 1912 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Heber and the late Anna (Hofer) Chadderton. She lived in Fair Lawn, Butler and Wayne before West Milford. She was the owner/operater of Widmers Bakery Fair Lawn, NJ over 30 years retiring in 1966. Mrs. Widmer was a former member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Wayne, the Paterson Area Zonta Club and Past president of the Paterson Womens Club, She was a former member of the Paterson General hospital Auxillary and chairwomen of the Straus Ball Committee. Mrs. Widmer was a Soloist with the Paterson Philharmonic Orchestra as well as St. Clements church, Hawthorne. Her husband Albert R. predeceased her in 1966. She is survived by one daughter: Patricia Heck of West Milford, NJ, one son: Albert R., Jr. of Paramus, NJ, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Monday, April 14, 2003 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Moore's Home For Funerals, with Rev. Ben Frauman officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Memorials may be made to Your Favorite Charity
