Obituary of Eileen Layden

Eileen (Johnston) Layden, age 87, of Haledon most of her life, died Friday, April 4, 2003 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Layden was born November 18, 1915 in Dunn,Ontario Canada the daughter of the late James Henry and the late Susan (Montgomery) Johnston. She was an estimator for Frank A. McBride Co., Paterson, NJ for 40 years. Mrs. Layden was a member of the Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne and the Eastern Star in Paterson Her husband Robert Douglas Layden predeceased her in 2001.She is survived by her daughter: Susan Ammerman of Palm Coast, FL, 2 grandchildren; Shari Silverman and Scott Ammerman and 3 great grandchildren Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 8:30PM at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Marcus officiating.
