Obituary of Mary Solwecki

Mary (Deptuch) Solwecki, age 96, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Preakness Health Care Center, Wayne. Mrs. Solwecki was born August 14, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Andrew and the late Mary (Flis) Deptuch. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Ocala, FL and Cliffside Park, NJ. She was employed by Western Electric, Kearny for over 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Solwecki was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. She is survived by her one daughter: Marilyn and her husband Don Sposato, two sons: Michael Solwecki and his wife Sheila and Thomas Solwecki; 3 Grandchildren : Melanie and her husband Chad Scroble, Donna Sposato and Michael Solwecki and his wife Amy and 4 Great-grandchildren, Emily, Patrick ,Michael and William. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Solwecki, two brothers, Joe and John Deptuch and a sister, Elizabeth Syslo. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11:30 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, and Pompton Lakes and will be Celebrated by Fr. Larry Anderson. Private Cremation will follow.
