Obituary of Janet D. Ross

Janet D. (Dunning) Ross, age 92, of Naples died Monday, December 16, 2002 at The Moorings, Naples., FL. Mrs. Ross was born April 23, 1910 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Harry and the late Janet G. (Petrie) Dunning. She lived in Ho-Ho-Kus until moving to Naples. She served in the Navy from to during World War II . After graduating Mount Holyoke College and receiving an M.A. from Columbia University, she taught math at Eastside High School, Paterson and later was the head of the Math Department at Ramapo High School, Franklin Lakes. In Naples, Mrs. Ross was a volunteer at the Naples Community Hospital and was a tutor with the Literary Volunteers of America. Her husband David T. predeceased her in 1976. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus .
