Obituary of Warren J. Grant

Warren J. Grant, age 80, of Paterson died Friday, September 20, 2002 in West Yarmouth, MA. Mr. Grant was born June 24, 1922 in Passaic, NJ the son of the late Frank and the late Julia (Kocik) Grant. He married Anita ( Driscoll) on June 16, 1945. She predeceased him in 1997. He served in the Navy during World War II and as a Staff Sergeant with the Air force from 1955- 1958. He was a Fire Fighter for over 20 years at Engine Company # 2 with the City Of Paterson, NJ retiring in June, 1983. Mr. Grant former was a member of St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church,Paterson, NJ and more recently at St. James Of The Marches R.C. Church, Totowa, NJ. He was a member of the St. James travel Club and the Knights of Columbus Council # 6574. Mr Grant was a Volunteer at the Wayne General Hospital. He is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth Grant Walsh of Bedminister, NJ, Anita Grant Stephens of Kennebunkport,ME and Eileen Grant Sebestyen of Framingham, MA, and a granddaughter, Kimberley Sebestyen Visiting hours will be Sunday, September 22, 2002 from 2-6pm at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 AM from the funeral home and 9:30 AM at St. James Of The Marches R.C. Church, 410 Totowa Rd., Totowa where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart association.
