Obituary of Ronald Edwin Engelhardt

Ronald Edwin Engelhardt, age 79, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Lincoln Park Renaissance. Mr. Engelhardt was born June 13, 1933 in Paterson, the son of the late William and the late Dorothy (Cuhnert) Engelhardt. After serving in the US Army, he married his wife Sylvia (Decondo) and moved to Wayne, residing there for 43 years. He was a carpenter for Local # 15 in Hackensack, retiring in 2000. Mr. Engelhardt loved to hunt and fish when not spending time with his family. Mr. Engelhardt is survived by his loving son Ronald, (Jr.) and his daughter Dorothy Engelhardt and her husband Dave Bergeman; his cherished granddaughter Keri Rose Engelhardt; and many dear nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Marie Decondo in 2005 and his brother, William. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
