Obituary of Seymour Baron

Seymour Baron, age 85, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Mr. Baron was born May 1, 1929 in New York, the son of the late Philip and the late Pauline (Zuckerman) Baranovsky. He was raised in Brooklyn, and has lived in Wayne since 1961. Mr. Baron served in the US Army during Korean War. He retired from Hexcel Corporation in Lodi in 2001 where he was a Director of Research & Development. Mr. Baron was a member of Knights of Pythias for many years. Mr. Baron is survived by his beloved children Penny Baron, Gerilyn Baron and Ted Wagner, and Lee and his wife Debbie Baron; his loving grandchildren, Christie, Tracy, Michael and Joe; his cherished great-grandsons, Jake and Luke; and his companion of 25 years, Bertha Belak. He was predeceased by brothers, Charlie, Herbert and Jack. Visiting hours will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge.
