Obituary of Alfred J. Meinhardt, Jr.

Alfred J. Meinhardt Jr. passed away on December 9, 2022. Born in Passaic, NJ, Alfred resided in Wayne for 64 years. He was an active member of the Preakness Reformed Church in Wayne. He was licensed as a professional engineer in the state of NJ and Manager of Chemical Production at Hoffmann La Roche for many years.

Beloved husband of the late Margery Meinhardt for 63 years, loving father of Leslie Spohn and her husband Glenn of West Milford, NJ, and Jim Meinhardt and his wife Michele of Lititz, PA.

Loving grandfather to Gary, Emily, Alexa, and Evan. Loving great-grandfather to Eleanor, Ava, and Grant. Alfred spent many wonderful summers at his camp at Raquette Lake, NY surrounded by family and friends. He created many special memories for them.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Preakness Reformed Church, 131 Church Lane, Wayne.
