Obituary of Vincent Michael Speranza
Vincent M. Speranza of Naples, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the age of 83.
Vinnie was born on April 26, 1939 to Sebastian and Antonina Speranza in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in West Paterson, New Jersey and was a Marine Corps veteran. He was a long-time New Jersey business owner and resident of Wayne. He operated "Vinnie's 11th Frame" restaurants in Wayne and several other locations. Vinnie also operated the Pro Shop at T-Bowl in Wayne for many years. He was a professional bowler and a member of the Passaic County Bowlers Hall of Fame. Vinnie also loved playing softball and golf. After relocating to Naples, Florida 20+ years ago, Vinnie was active in the Collier County Senior Softball league and the Knights of Columbus at St. Agnes Church.
Vinnie is survived by his loving children, Antonia Bower (David) of New Jersey, Vincent Speranza (Viktoria) of Florida, and Darienne Speranza (Gregory) of Georgia; and cherished grandchildren Laura Bower, Julia Bower, Erica Bower and Andrew Bower. He is also survived by his dear sister Carmela Balady of New Jersey and brother Joseph Speranza of New York. Vinnie is pre-deceased by his parents, Sebastian and Antonina.
Family will be receiving visitors at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd, Wayne on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5-8pm.
There will be a Memorial Mass on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10am, Our Lady of Consolation Church, 1799 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne.
