Obituary of Ciprian T Domahidi

Ciprian Traian Domahidi, age 60, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 2, 2022, from natural causes. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vasilica Domahidi.

Born in Medias, Romania, Ciprian came to the United States in 1997 with his wife and children. He worked throughout his life as an electronic engineer. He was an avid tinkerer and was self-taught at building computers. He learned from his father how to repair cars and he was the family's go-to car repairman. He taught his children these skills, and was always willing to spend time repairing and understanding how things worked. He had a long and dedicated career at Sony Electronics in Teaneck, New Jersey, and most recently at Vislink Technologies in Mount Olive, New Jersey.

He was the personification of a grumpy old man but always went out of his way to help those who needed it. He had a very sarcastic personality and was often making jokes and trying to lighten the mood with his unique sense of humor. He was a lover of all things sci-fi, especially Star Trek, and loved a good meal.

In addition to his wife, surviving are his two children, Cristina and Charlie, son-in-law Peter, and his granddaughter Amelia, as well as family in Romania. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
