Obituary of Amy McKnight

Amy (Lerner) McKnight, age 66 of Wayne, died Saturday, August 27, 2022 at home. Mrs. McKnight was born in Pompton Plains, NJ the daughter of the late Sidney and the late Blossom (Klein) Lerner. She was the owner and operator of the Preakness Gourmet Deli in Wayne for 40 years. Amy will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her three daughters: Rachel McKnight (Blaze Andrelczyk), Jenny Blitshtein (Allan) and Laura Lane (Dan) and her 7 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John McKnight. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd and Century Rd, Paramus to be led by Rabbi Chanoch Kaplan. Amy's daughters ask that you kindly remember their mom with love in your own personal way.
