Obituary of Philip Anthony Franchino

Philip Anthony Franchino, age 83, of Wayne died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at home. Mr. Franchino was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Domanic and the late Rose (Lammard) Franchino. He was a graduate of Paterson Tech.

Phil was pipefitter employed by the Pipefitters Local #274. After his retirement he worked as a starter at the Passaic County Golf Course in Wayne where he also enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid sports fan, especially for his favorite teams the Mets and the Giants.

He is survived by his daughter Debbie Franchino, his son Phil and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear wife Arlene (Peffal) Franchino.

Visiting hours will be Thursday August 18, 2022 from 4-8 PM.

A graveside service and burial will be Friday at 10:00 am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road in Totowa.
