Obituary of Stephen Del Monico

Stephen Del Monico, age 58, died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Mr. Del Monico was born March 13, 1956 in Paterson, the son of the late Sebastian and the late Isabel (Cammarano) Del Monico. He lived in North Haledon for 18 years before moving to Pompton Lakes in 1995. Mr. Del Monico was a Transportation Broker employed by GMG Transwest, in Deer Park, LI. He was an avid Yankee and Jet fan. He loved Atlantic City and traveling the islands. Steve had a great sense of humor. One of his favorite past times was sitting by the pool and watching the deer in the yard. Steve is survived by his beloved wife Dawn (Neurouter) Del Monico; his loving sons, Stephen and Daniel; his dear niece Samantha Del Monico and nephew, Tim Del Monico; and his cherished grand-niece, Mia. He was predeceased by his brother, Jimmy (2001). Visiting hours will be Tuesday September 30, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:00 pm with Fr. Frank Agresti officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
