Obituary of Antoinette Ochoa

Antoinette "Nettie" (nee Cardillo) Ochoa, age 75 of Wayne, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack. Mrs. Ochoa was born in New York City the daughter of the late John B. and the late Eileen (Meagher) Cardillo. She was employed by the A&P and later the Stop & Shop, both in Wayne in the Bakery Department for many years. Nettie enjoyed relaxing and watching TV especially gameshows and Everybody Loves Raymond. She was also a fan of movies and her favorites included Ghost, Working Girl and Sister Act. She could frequently be found playing casino games on her ipad too. She loved to travel, particularly to the Caribbean, and had visited Aruba many times with her husband. She will be remembered most of all for her great love of her family, especially her adored grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years Johnny, her daughter Michelle Trentacosta (Greg) and her son John, Jr (Sandy). Also her grandchildren Alysa Black (Sean), Karissa Georginis (Rich), Kelly Ochoa, Nicholas and Tyler Trentacosta and her great-grand son Adrianos Georginis. She was predeceased by her brother, Philip Cardillo. Visiting hours will be Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at the funeral home and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. A private cremation will follow.
