Obituary of Allen P. Higgins,III

Allen P. Higgins, III, age 58, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Allen was born September 23, 1956 in Passaic, the son of Allen and Evelyn (Renn) Higgins. He lived in Wildwood Crest, for 16 years and was formerly of Wayne. He was a Real Estate salesman at Flagship Development. He was one of the founders of the musical band Slick and proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Nautilus. Allen was the beloved husband of Kathy (Wade) Higgins; loving father of Allen P. Higgins, IV and stepfather of Michael Evers and his wife Melissa and Kelly Winneker and her husband Michael; devoted grandfather of Liam, Gracie, Aiden, Emma and Joseph; dear brother of Cheryl Zarillo, Bryan Higgins and Dawn Young; and loving uncle of 6 nephews and 1 niece. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd, Wayne with a service officiated by Pastor Dan Kuert at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks 1060 State Rd, 2nd fl., Princeton, NJ 08540
