Our beloved Patriarch, affectionally called "Papi" was kind, hard-working, diligent, humble, a self-starter and a warrior for his family. It was precisely his love for his family that brought him to the U.S. in search of better opportunities. Papi was a talented tailor who was self-employed part of his life, and his expertise gave him the opportunity to work for Mac Hugh Inc. tailor shop in Ridgewood, NJ in the 1980's and 90's. His diligence and talent gave him the privilege to be the tailor to very prestigious clientele, among them the late President Nixon. He continued his trade years after his retirement, driven by his strong work ethic and passion.
He is remembered for his many qualities, but what he would want to be remembered most was his love and reverence for his Lord Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother. He left a legacy of love and dedication for his family and inspired his future generations to persevere in the face of adversity and face challenges head on. These are the traits of a truly great man. Papi, you will be dearly missed and will live forever in our hearts.
