Obituary of Irene DeHaas

Irene DeHaas, age 70, of Lake Hiawatha, passed away peacefully April 3, 2022. Ms. DeHaas was born on June 25, 1951 in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Virginia and Jacob DeHaas. Irene worked for Pathmark for over 20 years and after their closing went on to work at Acme. She loved to read, and was always anticipating her favorite author's next book release. She loved to shop and have lunch with her sisters, vacation at Disney and spend time with her extended family. One of her favorite sayings was 'Live, Love, Laugh'. Irene is survived by her sister Jackie Bark and husband Walt; sister Gerri and late partner Matt Simon; sister MaryLou and partner Jerry; brother-in-law Ken Kamper; as well as cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Irene was predeceased by her sisters Georgette DeHaas and Robin Kamper. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
