Obituary of Robin Diane Kamper
Robin Diane (DeHaas) Kamper, age 75, of Highland Lakes, passed away April 2, 2022 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Kamper was born on June 24, 1946 in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Virginia and Jacob DeHaas. She was married 50 years to her beloved husband, Kenneth Kamper.
Robin raised her family in Wayne and was a bus driver for the Wayne Board of Education for over 26 years. Robin and her husband were actively involved with the Wanderers Car Club, and volunteer with the United Methodist Church in Vernon. She loved dancing, cooking, gardening and taking care of her family.
Robin is survived by her husband Ken, two daughters Jenn Matuszkiewicz and husband Mick; Kim Kamper and partner Mike; sister Jackie Bark and husband Walt; sister Gerri and late partner Matt Simon, sister MaryLou and partner Jerry as well as cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was a doting grandmother to her grandson Michael Kenneth. Robin was predeceased by her sisters Georgette and Irene DeHaas.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 8, 2020 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Moore's Home for Funerals. There will be a service on Saturday, April 9 at 9:00 am at the funeral home celebrated by Rev. Megan Mead-Bracknell.
The interment will follow at 10:15 am at Fair Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fair Lawn.
