Obituary of Dennis F. Kondrat

Dennis F. Kondrat, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Care One at Wayne. Mr. Kondrat was born April 17, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Frank A. and the late Frances (Bejdan) Kondrat. He lived in Wayne. Dennis attended the University of Hawaii – Chaminade College in Honolulu, studying Oceanography and Marine Biology. He later continued his studies at Montclair University earning a B.S. For many years, he was an inventory control manager at Perdue Frederick Company in Totowa. Dennis later worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and then was promoted to a maintenance manager in Paterson before retiring. Dennis loved to read, fish, camp and surf. While in high school and college he worked as a lifeguard. He was an avid Yankee fan and an animal lover. He is survived by his Loving sister: Maryann Repice, R.N. and her husband Domenico, nephews, Domenic, Jr., Frank Anthony and Michael Dennis and his former wife, Karin M. Kondrat now Sadove. Visiting hours will be Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4-8 PM. The funeral will begin at 9am Saturday, with a prayer at the funeral home and then proceed to a 10:00 am Mass at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne which will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Private Cremation will follow
