Obituary of Salvatore Scaramuzzo

Salvatore Scaramuzzo, age 72, died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson. Mr. Scaramuzzo was born in Acri,Cosenza,Italy, the son of the late Pasquale and the late Annina (Turano) Scaramuzzo. He came to the US in 1966 and settled in Paterson before moving to Wayne. He was employed by Wayne Hills High School, as a Custodian previously he worked at Trio Dye in Paterson for over 25 years. Mr. Scaramuzzo was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, Paterson. Most of all, Sal loved his garden. He is survived by his beloved wife: Franca (Turano) Scaramuzzo, a daughter: Patrizia and a son: Pasquale; Dear brother of one sister: Maria Scaramuzzo and brothers, Franco and Maurizio as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2-6 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 8:30 am from the funeral home to a 9:30 am Mass at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa.
