Obituary of Peter Roger Argyle Durkin

Peter R A Durkin, Age 93 dies Wednesday February 23, 2022. Mr. Durkin was born in Paterson New Jersey the son of the late Henry Durkin and Dorothy (Campbell) Durkin. He worked in the Garment Industry for many years. Peter was a long time member of Waldwick United Methodist Church in Waldwick New Jersey.

Peter was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Army and a recipient of the Bronze Star.

He is survived by his sister Becky Powers, his sons Keith Durkin, David Durkin, Kenneth Durkin and hi wife Christine his daughter Deborah Thompson and her husband Mark and his step-daughters Deborah De Graaff and Darlene Robinson and her husband James Robinson. Also, his grandkids Daniel Thompson, Nathan Durkin and Clifton Durkin his nieces Cindy Cameron, Kathy Durkin-Scalcione his nephews Peter Durkin, Steven Durkin and Michael Powers.

Predeceased by his wife Gloria (Mabie) Durkin his sisters Nancy Campbell, Deborah Harless and brother Roger Durkin.

Peter enjoyed singing with the Harmony Singer and in church, spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and whole help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
