I can't say I have memories of Vivian Augustine, not directly, but, indirectly... since 1962 -- every time I hear Classical music from "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" to "Bolero" . "Tales from the Vienna Woods" to "English Country Garden" I think myself fortunate to have gone to Lafayette School in Wayne when a young, handsome man would visit our classroom, weekly, to fill students minds with beautiful, exciting and serene sounds and teach us about Music Appreciation. Since those days, I have thanked that man, privately to myself, thousands of times... and now, I thank Vivian Augustine for her gift to the World, her Son, the Music Teacher, Mr. Guy Vinopal. Your Mother must have experienced a truly wonderful Life... from her youth spent at Reposoir up to her present age of 107 years. Enchanting, breathtaking, heavenly. Tonight at dinner, while Classical music plays low in the background I will again thank the Music Teacher. And his blessed Mother. My heartfelt condolences to the Vinopal Family. GOD BLESS VIVIAN + REST IN PEACE
