Obituary of Leonard Frost

Leonard "Lenny" Frost, 64, of Pompton Lakes died at home Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021 after battling pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judy (nee Campbell). He is also survived by his mother Anna Frost. Lenny was the oldest of six children and is survived by his five siblings -- Timothy, Robert (Violeta), Diane (Phil) Fuhrer, Roderic (Jamie) and Beth. He was predeceased by his father, Leonard. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Lenny was an avid bowler and many of his longtime friendships were made on the lanes. He bowled fifteen 300 games and two 800 series in his career. He was a member of the USBC Open Championship Captains Club and co-captained a group of 44 teams at the Open. He enjoyed golf and won the Club Championship in his flight at Bowling Green Golf Club where he also made a hole in one. Lenny was a lifelong Mets fan, through the good years and the bad, and had a collection of Mets memorabilia including every yearbook since the team's inception in 1962. But his one true love was his wife, Judy. They enjoyed going on cruises, visiting new places and meeting new people. A Celebration of Lenny's Life will be held at Moore's Home for Funerals 1591 Alps Road Wayne, NJ 07470 Sunday, August 15th from 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
