Obituary of Raynol Rafael Diaz

Raynol Rafael Diaz, age 85, died Friday, July 9, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at home in Ringwood where he was a longtime resident. Mr. Diaz was born in Santiago in the Dominican Republic, the son of the late Octavio and the late Carmen (Rodriguez) Diaz. During his school years he was an avid sportsman who was the captain of both his football and basketball teams. He was also a proud US Marine Corps veteran. He was employed by Lincoln Engineering of Saddle Brook, NJ as a Sales Manager who worked in many locations around the world . Mr. Diaz enjoyed skiing and racquet ball and was an active member of Spa 23 in Wayne. He traveled extensively with his family and will be most remembered for his great love of them. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Ida (Stehrenberger) Diaz, two sons: Ralph (Karen) and Michael (Justine), grandchildren: Kyle Diaz, Lauren Diaz, Eric Diaz and Lucas Diaz. Also nieces Barbara and Lily (Bob) and a nephew Peter. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday July 17, 2021 from 12 to 2 PM with a service celebrated by Rev. Vivian Sartoretto at 1:30 PM during the gathering. Memorials in his memory may be made to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation at www.emmanuelcancer.org.
