Obituary of Aida Haimowitz

Aida (Mastropaolo) Haimowitz, age 95,passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021, in Delray Beach, FL. Mrs. Haimowitz was born in Hoboken, NJ the daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Rose (Bramante) Mastropaolo. She lived in Wayne. She was a graduate of NYU and a lifelong educator in the North Bergen public schools. Aida was a former parishioner of St. Ann RC Church in Hoboken. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Meehan, her son, Vincent, grandson, Zac and his wife Danielle and grandson, Brad and his wife Michelle as well as her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Theodore and Landon. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward and her son, Robert. Visiting hours will be Monday, July 12, 2021, from 6-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at St. Ann RC Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
