Obituary of Dolores A. Cowan

Dolores A.( Brooks) Cowan, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Arden Courts of West Orange. Mrs. Cowan was born April 3, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of the late Cyril and the late Sarah Brooks. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Lyndhurst. Mrs. Cowan was employed by Bradlees in Wayne as a Sales Associate before retiring. Mrs. Cowan also attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, Wayne She is survived by her husband: Harry Cowan, Sr.; two daughters: Diane and her husband Donald Larsen, Janet and her husband Kevin Urban and one son: Harry, Jr. and his wife Stacey; nine grandchildren; Shannon,Mallory,Ryan,Erin,Jennifer,Hailey, Raymond, Zachary and Samantha and two great-grandchildren, Christopher And Sophie. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Memorials may be made to Grace Hospice, 105 Fieldcrest Ave. # 304, Edison, NJ 08837
