Obituary of Barbara Leach

Barbara (Taormina) Leach, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Mrs. Leach was born in Garfield and lived in Wayne. She worked as a nanny for many years. Barbara loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She easily made friends and always kept in touch, remembering everyone's birthday. The beach and The Sagamore Resort in Lake George were her favorite vacationing spots. Mrs. Leach was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation RC Church and attended Cornerstone Chapel. Mrs. Leach is survived by her beloved husband Michael; her loving mother Madeline (Renna) Taormina; her dear children Jessica, and Jason and his wife Julia Cullen; her siblings Larry, John, Robert, Marie and Audrey, and sister-in-law, Patricia Kramer; her cherished granddaughters, Madeline and Chloe; and nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Michael, Melissa and Anthony. Barbara was predeceased by her father Charles Taormina. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will follow in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
