She was born in Fraine, Italy and came to the United States in 1930 settling in Paterson, NJ. She was the second child of Nicola and Concetta D' Aloisio. Anna was a sewing machine operator for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union working in various factories in Paterson and also was a delegate and steward for the union. Anna was married to the love of her life, John who passed away in 1981. They were the proud parents of 3 daughters, Roseanne (Joe) Liguori, Connie Martino, and Joanne (Frank) Tavano. She was predeceased by her husband John, her father Nicola, her mother Concetta, her brothers Pete and Jude, son-in-law Guido Martino, and her great-grandsons Scott Martino, and Lucca Aycock. Anna was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed mending and altering clothing for her family. Her hobbies were knitting and crocheting, and she made numerous blankets for babies and adults, and doilies. What brought her the most joy was being surrounded by her 3 children, sons-in-law, 9 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She loved telling her stories from the past and singing her favorite old American and Italian songs. At a family gathering you could find her playing cards with the men and winning. The family who loved her dearly will miss their 'Mommy', 'Grandma' and 'Gi Gi'. Visiting hours will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
