Obituary of Thomas A. Van Hook
Thomas A. Van Hook, 81, passed away on Monday, January. 25, 2021. He was born in Paterson and lived in Wanaque. Tom served proudly in the Naval Reserve as a Sea Bee for 20 years. Before retiring, he was the Construction Official for the Borough of Fair Lawn.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara (McClory) Van Hook in 2003.
Tom is survived by his Loving wife: Eileen (Foley) Van Hook, his three daughters: Venetia Graham (William), Jacqueline Dean (Michael) and Stacy Van Hook; his two step-children Aaron Sarubbi (Wendy) and Alix Sarubbi (Greg Chang); his cherished grandchildren, Shaun Dean, Ryan Graham (Nicole), Colin Dean, Kyle Graham, Everett Morthier, Jordan Sarubbi, Parker Chang and Elle Chang; his adored great-grandson Luke Graham; his brothers John Van Hook (Robin), and Steven Van Hook (Judy), his sisters Pat Martin and Anita Van Hook (Kelly); his many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private service will be held.
