Obituary of Evangeline Wegrzyn

Evangeline (Giunta) Wegrzyn, age 93, died Monday, December 14, 2020. Mrs. Wegrzyn was born July 11, 1927 in Dumont, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Caroline (Swan) Giunta. She was raised in Dumont and lived in New Milford , Upper Saddle River, Washington Township and Whiting before settling in Wayne the last sixteen years. She is survived by her children, one daughter: Rosemary Ciocco of Florida, and three sons: Norman and his wife Robin Geyer of Wayne, Richard and his wife Deborah Wegrzyn of Delaware, and Michael Wegrzyn of Matawan, NJ; her grandchildren: Holly Jeffreys, Jim Ciocco, Joshua and Kevin Geyer, Danielle Wegrzyn; and great-grandsons: Daniel and Matthew Jeffreys. She was predeceased by her sister Carol Seco, her brother Joseph Guinta, and her husband, Zenon Wegrzyn. Private burial was on December 15, 2020 at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any food pantry or food bank.
