Obituary of Palma Simeone

Palma (Marandola) Simeone, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Born in Italy, the daughter of the late Giusseppe and the late Assunta (Alfiere) Marandola, she recently lived in Wayne and was formerly of Jersey City and Pompton Lakes. Mrs. Simeone was employed by Mueller's Macaroni in Jersey City for many years. She was a former parishioner of Holy Rosary RC Church in Jersey City. Mrs. Simeone loved cooking and baking and was known for her delicious cookies. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Mrs. Simeone is survived by her beloved children Maria and her husband Pietro Ciotti, Eleonora and her husband Robert Donnelly, and Anna and her husband Frank Natilla; her cherished grandchildren Palma Ciotti, and Adelmo Justin Natilla; her loving siblings Anna Capraro, Antonio and his wife Ida Marandola, Luigi Marandola; sisters-in-law, Vincenza Noschese, Anna Tizzano, Maria DeCiccio, Franca Simeone; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Adelmo. Friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 2-6 pm at the funeral home. There will be a funeral Mass on Saturday at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne which will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
