Obituary of Harold John Hascup
Harold John Hascup, age 90, died Friday, October 16, 2020 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown. Mr. Hascup was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late John and the late Madeline (Simet) Hascup. He was a resident of Clifton most of his adult life and is where he raised his family. He served in the US Navy reserves from 1954 to 1958. Harold was a member of the Carpenters Union and worked mainly in Northern NJ before retiring. He was a former parishioner of St. Paul's RC Church, Clifton and a member of the leadership committee of Boy Scout Troop # 7 there.
He is survived by his five sons: Robert H. and his wife Sharon, Richard and his wife Linda, David and his wife Meegan, Thomas and his wife Kimberly, and John and his wife Cheryl; his grandchildren: Jessica, Bryan (wife Gina), Michael (wife Diana), Joclyn Katie (husband John), Nicholas Richard, Joshua (wife Krista), Collin, Mackenzie aka Spanky, Matthew Thomas, Scott Ryan, Broderick, and Hunter; his great-grandchildren: Marylia, Juliana, Gavin, Benjamin, Stella, Shea, and Leia; and his brother Robert.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Leah (Lyle) in 1988.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 5-8 PM.
