Obituary of Annette Homenik

Annette (Rassel) Homenik, age 66, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Homenik was born in Steglitz, West Berlin, West Germany, the daughter of the late Walter Otto and Elisabeth (Schuller) Rassel. She lived in Wayne. She was a retired teacher of German and Spanish languages employed by the Secaucus Board of Education. Annette was a member of Edelweiss Passaic Schuhplattler Verein and the Germania Park cultural organizations. She enjoyed dancing, sewing and reading and also had a love of travel. Annette is survived by her devoted sons: Erich Homenik and Peter Homenik, her dear mother Elisabeth (Schuller) Rassel and her brother: Ronald Rassel. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip Walter Homenik in 2001 and her father, Walter Rassel. All services are private.
