Obituary of Emily Roth

Emily (Gordeck) Roth was born September 29, 1924, and entered eternal life on May 6, 2020, at the amazing age of 95. Emily was raised in Nanticoke, PA, and lived on a local farm with both her parents and sister Eleanor. She eventually grew up and moved to New Jersey, where she met and married Harold Roth. Emily and Harold raised three loving children: Cheryl, Richard and Susan. She continued her beautiful life with her family while residing in Clifton. During this time, she became a beautician and established her own business named "Crowning Glory". Despite owning and working a successful business, Emily always managed to prioritize her family and their happiness. She truly was a beautiful person, inside and out. Emily's unconditional love and selflessness radiated to everyone she valued and knew, both family and friends. She was the strongest person in the world, even at her weakest moments. Emily's smile was always beaming and full of pure, authentic happiness. Emily was truly a caring, honest, humble, and loving woman. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother (Baba) and great-grandmother to us all. Emily was always overfilled with affection, and wouldn't let us forget it. We could never say goodbye without a big squeeze and a kiss (closer to five or ten kisses). Throughout all the different stages of her life, Emily remained positive and would never fail to put a smile on our faces. Whether it was her contagious laugh, her stories, her sweet smile, or even the hold of a hand, a memory with Emily was always a happy one. Emily gave us all enough love to last a lifetime. Although we cannot give her ten kisses, hold her hand or give her a tight squeeze, her love will always be with us. As a family, we are so blessed to have had the chance to cherish and love, such a wonderful person. Emily will forever be deeply missed, but her love will always keep growing. We will hold you in our hearts. Emily is survived by her devoted children Cheryl Williams and her husband Jack, Sue Ungaro and her husband Sal; six loving grandchildren: Jennifer and her husband Jerry, Dana and her husband Wilson, Jeffrey, and Taylor. Baba also leaves behind 5 cherished great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy in her years: Cristian, Mateo, Mila, Charlotte and Emmett. She was predeceased by her son, Richard. Memorial services will be private. We ask that you share kind memories of her and pray.
