Obituary of Hector Vego Lotilla

To our family and friends: We are deeply saddened and hurt to announce that our father, our papang, Hector V. Lotilla, passed away in April 7 in Wayne, NJ, from complications caused by Covid-19. We know he is at a much better place now, free of worries, free of pain. Even though the living still finds it heartbreaking knowing he was alone and in isolation in his last few days in the intensive care unit, our father left happy memories, including the last smile he gave to our mother as he walked to the emergency room. Unfortunately, there is no memorial service held for our papang because of the cause of his death. But there will be a formal church service and burial of his ashes in San Jose, Antique, Philippines. The date is to be announced once this pandemic and lock down are lifted.
