Obituary of James Michael Conway

James Michael Conway, age 74, of Wayne died on April 2, 2020 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Jim was born on January 24, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. The son of the late Joseph and the late Mary Connolly (Conway). Jim graduated from St. Francis College, Brooklyn NY, with a BA degree. Jim entered the field of banking and worked for both Chase Manhattan Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank. As a Vice President of Banking, Jim along with his family, lived in England for several years. Upon returning from England, the family has since resided in Wayne, NJ. Jim is survived by his wife, Janet of 52 years; his daughter Cara and her husband Sean Santers, also of Wayne, and his son Christopher James Conway of Haskell; as well as, his three grandchildren Cameron, Jake, and Shane Santers. Jim loved to travel and enjoyed the Jersey Shore. He loved good food, a good drink, and good music. Jim loved being with his family and will be deeply missed. A memorial service honoring Jim's life will be held at a future date when we can be together. "And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me" -Danny Boy
