I worked for Ted at Western Union in the 1980s and still remember him and all of our long group lunches! We sometimes played tennis together at Ramapo College after work. My condolences to Ted's family.

Thanks for sharing your memories of my husband Ted. I heard about some of those long lunches! He was such a character and so much fun. I miss him so much.

We met Ted at the Side Door bar and grill when I was a bartender there. Football Sunday’s and the Side Door where synonymous with each other and Ted always bought that something extra into the room. He wasn’t just my customer but a very good friend by going out for pizza or having a few cold ones during those 4th of July parties. As my wife and I entered Ted and Vstols wedding reception, Ted pulled me aside and said “ could you go into that room for a minute, I need you and a few others to do me a favor.” As we waited in the room, Ted finally came in and said,” I want you as the Indian, you as the construction worker, you as the biker,” yep the Village People and that’s how we started his reception off! Great memories... Your smile and fun personality will be missed. RIP my friend.

I met Teddy through his wonderful wife Carol. He was a man with a great sense of humor. He welcomed you into his home for parties and met my family at his vacation rental. May you rest in peace.

Teddy was a wonderful person, I met him back in the 1990's, after speaking to him for about 10 minutes I thought to myself, I'm going to be friends with this guy forever, and that's exactly what happened! All that laughing and fun, he knew how to enjoy life and everyone around him, rest my sweet friend.
