Obituary of Oresto Rocco Perna

Oresto Rocco ''Jack'' Perna, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at home in Wayne. Mr. Perna was born in Paterson, the son of the late Oresto and the late Mildred (Ercolina) Perna. Mr. Perna was a US Army veteran serving in Korea. He was retired, previously working as a welder in the Paterson area, and later as a crossing guard in Wayne. Jack was very fond of Italian food and Busch beer. He also loved baseball and was an avid NY Yankee fan. Mr. Perna is survived by his loving sister Anna Walder, and sister-in-law Arlene Perna-Rudmann; and his devoted nieces and nephews, Carol and Carmelo Pancaldo, Lorraine and Tony Verdon, Harold Walder, Diane and Finlay Cumming, Judy and Frank Boccellato, and Linda and John Damato. Friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9-10 a.m. and the service at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael D. Lombardo officiating at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
