We would like to express our sincere sympathies to Terry, Christopher and Laura, Carrie and Joseph and their children on the passing of Chris.
I am writing this on behalf of my husband Jimmy who isn't able to put his thoughts together but I know from throughout the years how he felt about Chris. To JImmy and myself, Chris was one of those guys who would always be there if you needed anything----Generous with a smile and a personality to match. Qualities like Chris's aren't easily forgotten.... You will always be remembered for the wonderful friend that you were.

Chris Carrino
I had the pleasure of working with Chris at the Riviera
Lounge Nite Club in Yonkers back in the 1960s.
Chris always lead with his heart / a real class act!
Chris was one of the first Bronx Boys (Jimmy, Stevie, Anthony, Bingo, & me) working at the Riviera Lounge to get married during the time we worked there.
A dedicated husband and father, Chris also had a full time position in the recording industry during the week.
When I think of Chris, the first thing I remember he was always respectful of people always doing the right thing.
Considerate & genuine and a true family man.
We attended his 60th birthday party where his son Chris made an a heartwarming speech.
He said his father, no matter what time he came home after working nights till 3:00 AM at the club, would always get up early the next day spend time with his children.
Still such a memorable takeaway for me.
During his 50s Chris had a prostrate health issue.
Rather than keep it quiet (which is typical of guys in their 50s at that time), Chris recommended to us Bronx Boys that we should be aware of this issue encouraging us to get an early detection test for prostrate cancer - prescient advice to a bunch of guys at the time!
While growing up In the Bronx, Chris told me a story about a neighborhood mother who would yell out her son’s name from her 5th floor apartment window ....
“AMEDEO - AMEDEOOOO!!!”
constantly until her son would answer back!
When he first told me this, I started yelling it back to Chris
So when Chris would see me, he would yell AMEDEO - for 50 friggin years and it never got old!!
We continued to enjoy staying in touch regularly all these wonderful years.
It was a joy seeing how his how son and daughter followed the work ethic example set by Terry & Chris becoming successful and equally important, considerate and caring as well.
I am blessed & fortunate to have Chris & Terry as friends for more than 50 years.
Farewell my friend - here’s to a life well lived!
AMEDIO!!!
