Obituary of Norman Charles Pfister

Norman Charles ''"Charlie"'' Pfister, age 89, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at home in Paterson. Charlie was born in Paterson, the son of the late Charles A. and Estella L. (Bell) Pfister. He was a lifelong resident of Paterson. Charlie married Vera Maron after meeting her at the St. George young catholic adults meeting and they were married for 55 years. He was employed by US Post Office, as a Postal Worker for over 35 years before retiring. Charlie was an avid bicycle rider and car buff. He was also a huge baseball fan and a model train enthusiast. He is survived by his devoted sons: Ray Pfister and Ken and his wife Laura Pfister and cherished grandsons: Marc, Ryan And Kyle. He was predeceased by his wife Vera in 2015. Visiting hours will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 9-10 AM. The funeral service will also be Saturday at 10:00 am will be Celebrated by Fr. Mat Jasniewicz. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org
