Dear Steve, Sheila, Peggy, Jackie, Michael, John, Dennis, Kevin, Richard, (did I get the order correct on the last five?) All those names, your parents and even your grandmother and Aunt..... Hardwick Lane.... Such good memories! Your Mom was a gem and I was very very fond of her. She was alway kind and welcoming to me. She was fun to be around. She had a terrific sense of humor. For some reason I have a vivid memory of her asking me if I wanted a “sanwich” I think it was her New York accent. I still find myself saying sandwich with her twang. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose a beloved Mother. My deepest sympathy. Wish I could attend her funeral. I will be with you all in my thoughts tomorrow.
